You will need:

1. A drill

2. A 1.5" hole saw

3. A swivel hook

4. Two tomato sets in peat pots

5. A 5 gallon bucket

6. Potting soil

7. Fertilizer and water

8. A sturdy place to hook your bucket

1. Drill a 1.5” hole in bottom of bucket using hole saw.

2. Place tomato set in peat pot into bottom of bucket and balance bucket for filling, allowing plant to hang down.

3. Fill bucket with potting soil to within about 6 inches and place second tomato set. Finish filling with potting soil.

4. Mix 2 oz of plantSolution+ in 1 gallon of water, mix well and water.

5. Attach a swivel hook to the handle and hang bucket on a sturdy hook in full sun.

Tomato set will begin to turn upward within one or two days. This is normal!

Continue to water normally, but be careful not to drown the plant. If the leaves start to curl, you are watering too much.

Every seven days, completely saturate the soil in the bucket with plantSolution+ in a 2 oz per gallon mixture. Use plain water as needed to keep soil moist. As the plant grows, it will require more frequent watering--as much as twice per day during hot, dry weather.

Best Tomatoes Growing Tips:

Tip! Tomatoes love full sun. Use a swivel hook on hangers when growing tomatoes in pots to allow you to turn the plants periodically.

Tip! Tomatoes love calcium. To avoid blossom end rot, a common problem when growing tomatoes, be sure your planting medium contains calcium. plantSolution+ has calcium and other essential nutrients your tomatoes need.

Tip! Tomatoes love just the right moisture. If you water too much, the leaves will begin to curl. A benefit to container growing tomatoes in hanging pots: excess water drains out the bottom.
